Public Buildings
Civic responsibility has always been a part of Moline's history. Early leaders stressed education, religion and participation in town elections and other events that shaped the wellfare of the town and its citizens. Often the structures built to house such places were monumental in both size and material, an attempt to create inspirational spaces conducive to intellectual, spirital and civic contributions.
