Park Hill and Forest Hill
These residential neighborhoods present a broad cross-section of Moline residents and housing up through the 1920s. Below the hill are a few of the oldest remaining houses in Moline, some of which are at risk because of the threatened construction of a new Mississippi River bridge. Atop the bluff, Park Hill contains a variety of styles, mostly constructed in the first three decades of the 20th century. A 20th century trolley that came up 27th Street to 15th Avenue served Park Hill, which has a neighborhood association that was established in 2003. The slightly newer and higher status Forest Hill is distinctive because of the many brick homes of Georgian and other styles.
