Trevors
2414 16th Street

Still one of the best hardware stores in the area, Trevors occupied this site on the east side of 16th Street from 1900 until the late 1970s when they moved to a new facility south of Stewartville near Prospect Park. Between their founding in 1887 and 1900, they are believed to have operated out of the Town Hall across the street. The four people on the right are members of the Trevor family. This image was taken in 1948.

In 2004, Trevor True Value recieved the Moline Preservation Society's first Moline Family Business Heritage Award.
