Every year MPS hosts an awards reception to honor individuals and business who contribute to the cause of historic preservation by the maintenance, adaptive reuse, stewardship and/or restoration of a historic structure in Moline. Owners of award-winning historic home/structures receive a framed image of their home/structure with an engraved plaque commemorating their award. The annual reception is typically held at a local historic site or civic center.
